The USGBC developed the LEED® Rating System,
a leading-edge system for designing, constructing, operating and certifying
the world’s greenest buildings. LEED® stands
for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design.

LEED® WAS CREATED TO:

CaGBC and USGBC CERTIFY BUILDINGS FOR LEED®
There are 4 Award Levels :
  CAN US
• Certified Level 26-32 points 40-49 points
• Silver Level 33-38 points 50-59 points
• Gold Level 39-51 points 60-79 points
• Platinum Level 52+ points 80+ points
The CaGBC, through a licensing agreement with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), implements the LEED® Green Building Rating System in Canada.
