CNC OPERATOR

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the production supervisor, you will:

• Set up, configure and operate CNC machines for machining wood parts used to build doors;
• Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications;
• Select the right cutting tools, materials and programming parameters for each part;
• Make the necessary machine adjustments to ensure machining precision and quality;
• Inspect the parts produced using measuring instruments to ensure compliance;
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report any breakdown or anomaly to the supervisor;
• Follow health and safety standards at all times;
• Keep a clean and organized work environment;
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth production flow;
• Meet production deadlines and ensure performance targets are achieved.

DESIRED PROFILE:

• Experience operating CNC machines (milling, turning, wood or metal machining, depending on the field).
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing plans.
• Knowledge of CNC programming software (G-code, Fanuc, Siemens, Mastercam, etc., as needed).
• Understanding of tolerances, measurements and inspection instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.).
• Ability to perform basic machine setups (tools, speeds, feeds).
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and machine safety.
• Vocational diploma (DVS) in machining, wood processing, CNC or a related field.
